To whom it may concern,
I first heard of David Thiermann from a therapist who knew of David's career counseling expertise. I decided to see David since my current job left me feeling unhappy and burned out. My life was in a transitional phase after playing professional football for six years and working the last two years in a county treatment program for juvenile offenders. I was dissatisfied with my present work where my teaching, coaching, and care left me feeling unappreciated and unchallenged.
My initial meeting with David was very positive, and after reviewing a portfolio of his clients, I was confident that his abilities would help direct me towards a rewarding career. Through David's system of tests, in-depth back-ground search, and other resources, I found my desire to go back to school and coach football was very strong. David is currently helping me to decide between applying for a master's program in counseling psychology or art, while I pursue a graduate assistant coaching position in football.
David's positive input, sensitivity, patience and insightful suggestions to me in my career search have been extremely helpful. I highly recommend David to anyone that is seeking a positive change towards finding a career that will be fulfilling for them.Sincerely,
Vincent M. Stroth

To Whom It May Concern:
I have worked for the University of California, Santa Cruz, for almost 20 years and have been the Director of Academic Human Resources for almost 10 of those years. After a particularly arduous assignment as a project manager I decided to take a year off to relax, retool, and decide whether I wanted to continue at UCSC. It was then that I met David Thiermann.
David was quite helpful and generous as we explored my past, present, and future. He was able to draw insights and common threads from what I had seen as disparate activities and help me to identity many possibilities. He seems to know people in all sorts of vocations, provides helpful knowledge along the way, and can steer you to numerous Sources of additional information.
Most helpful to me were his ideas on marketing. This is an area where David has many ideas which he can illustrate with his own experiences.
A warm, helpful, insightful counselor, I highly recommend that you use his services if you want help attaining your dreams or just getting a fresh view of where you are.
Sincerely,
Barbara J. Brogan

When I started working with David Thiermann, I had been working for seven years as a graphic designer and writer for a local manufacturer of nutritional supplements. Even though I had a good job, I never really felt "fulfilled" by it. I had felt that one of the major challenges of my adult life was a lack of focus. I was multi-talented, and had never been able to pick any one field that felt "just right" for me, and stick to it. So instead, I had found a job where at least I could exercise some creativity while getting paid for it. I ended up feeling like I had sold out. I came to David hoping that I could find the focus I needed in order to create a truly satisfying career for myself.
Boy, did I find it! In the course of working with David, I stumbled upon a career possibility that had never occurred to me: becoming a personal coach. A personal coach is a sort of "life consultant" who helps a person clarify their goals and achieve them. Although at first the idea of doing this for a living seemed "too good to be true" to me, with David's help I soon gained the confidence I needed to pursue it. David educated me in techniques to market myself, and after getting a bit of training, I was off and running. The process of building my practice has been ecstatic. I have discovered my "right livelihood," and I know now that coaching is something I'll be doing for the rest of my life. David's marketing techniques have paid off - my business has taken off to the point where I have been able to quit my job and become a full-time coach. I am making much more money and have much more free time than ever before.
David is an enthusiastic and supportive person with an assortment of powerful techniques that, I believe, will work for anyone who will apply them. He has made a.huge difference in my life, for which I am profoundly grateful.
Sincerely,
Glenn Davis
GOOD TIMES To whom it may concern,
As a reporter for GOOD TIMES I have the opportunity through my various assignments to come in contact with many people.
I was assigned to do a story on David Thiermann, a local career consultant. My editor instructed me to put together a write-up on Mr. Thiermann and find out why he is so effective (and popular) in this region.
The story I wrote about Mr. Thiermann came out fine, much to my liking. In the piece, I revealed Mr. Thiermann's techniques in helping innumerable clients probe their career options, needs and desires, before going on to make suitable and often profitable changes in their life goals.
Mr. Thiermann's approach to careers, and life in general, captivated me and I sought out his advice. We have for several weeks been working together on creating career options for me. Through Mr. Thiermann's keen eye and astute judgements, I have made overtures to my career options.Sincerely,Robert Ward
